Young Professionals

Are you a young professional studying international relations or simply interested in what’s happening in the world around you? The AIIA WA Branch offer a casual, friendly environment for meeting others with a similar interest in international affairs, as well as a place for stimulating conversation and debate. There are monthly seminars as well as specific YPN events throughout the year.

To find out more, please feel free to email our Convener Ms Candy Cheung at  ypnwa@internationalaffairs.org.au or go to the membership page.

The AIIA receives advanced notice of prominent speakers and for our YPN members we try to organise special offers such as discounted rates for upcoming events. Recent events which YPN members have attended include previous Foreign Minister Mr Kevin Rudd, Senator Kate Lundy and HE Jeffrey Bleich, U.S. Ambassador to Australia. Members are usually sent notice of the meeting and asked to RSVP to confirm attendance.
